Pubs and Bars in Adelaide
Adelaide, known as one of the festival cities of the world, also has a colourful selection of clubs to keep you moving and grooving until the early hours of the morning.
The Stag, a historic pub on the corner of Rundle Street and East Terrace, has existed in some form or another since 1849. It’s been through a few guises since then – not all of them successful.
The intimate bar, with crackling open fireplace, serves all the regular brews as well as Lobethal Bierhaus and Mismatch beer. Further inside, you’ll find an inviting dining room where you can sit down for a salad, gnocchi, porchetta or pub classic.
Dating back to 1853, the Crown and Anchor is full of character, just like its patrons. Grungy and welcoming, it's typically rammed with patrons filling the outdoors tables, front bar and surrounding the pool table.
